Surah Hashr English Translation

Everything in the skies and on the earth praises Allah. He is the One with all power and wisdom.
Allah drove out the disbelievers from the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering. You thought they would never leave, and they thought their strongholds would keep them safe from Allah. But Allah’s command reached them from where they least expected. Fear gripped their hearts. They tore down their homes with their own hands, and the believers helped dismantle them too. There’s a clear lesson in this for anyone who can see.
If Allah had not already decreed that they would be exiled, He would have punished them in another way in this life. But in the Hereafter, their punishment is the blazing Fire.
This happened because they opposed Allah and His Messenger. Whoever challenges Allah should know: Allah’s punishment is severe.
Whether you cut down their palm trees or left them standing, you only did so with Allah’s permission. It was His way of disgracing those who rebelled.
What Allah gave His Messenger from their possessions wasn’t gained through battles, horses, or camels. Allah simply grants authority to His messengers over whom He wills. Allah has power over all things.
What Allah gave His Messenger from the towns’ wealth belongs to Allah, His Messenger, the needy, the orphans, close relatives, and travelers in difficulty. This ensures wealth doesn’t just circulate among the rich. So take whatever the Messenger gives you, and stay away from whatever he forbids. And be mindful of Allah—His punishment is harsh.
A share is also for the poor emigrants—those forced from their homes and wealth, who seek Allah’s pleasure and grace, and who support Allah and His Messenger. They are truly the honest ones.
And those who were already settled in Madinah and had faith before them—they love the emigrants, and they don’t feel jealousy over what was given to them. Instead, they prefer others over themselves, even when they themselves are in need. Whoever can overcome the greed of their own soul—they are the ones who succeed.
And those who come after them pray: “Our Lord, forgive us and our believing brothers and sisters who came before us in faith. Do not let any hatred stay in our hearts toward those who believe. Our Lord, You are truly Kind and Merciful.”
Have you noticed the hypocrites? They say to their disbelieving friends from the People of the Book: “If you are expelled, we will go with you. If you are attacked, we will stand with you.” But Allah makes it clear—they are liars.
If they are expelled, the hypocrites won’t go with them. If they are attacked, they won’t help. And even if they tried, they would soon run away. In the end, no one will help them.
They fear you more than they fear Allah. This is because they simply don’t understand.
They won’t fight you openly, only from behind walls or from inside their fortresses. Among themselves they are full of hatred. You might think they are united, but their hearts are divided. This is what happens when people lack understanding.
They are just like those who came before them—they tasted the results of their actions, and a painful punishment awaits them.
They are like Satan when he whispers to a person, “Disbelieve!” But when the person disbelieves, Satan says, “I’m not with you—I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds.”
So in the end, both of them end up in the Fire, remaining there forever. That’s the outcome for wrongdoers.
O believers! Be mindful of Allah, and let every soul look to what it has prepared for tomorrow. Fear Allah—He is fully aware of everything you do.
Don’t be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget their own worth. Such people are the rebellious.
The people of the Fire and the people of Paradise are not the same. The people of Paradise are the truly successful.
If We had revealed this Qur’an onto a mountain, you would have seen it crumble and humble itself in awe of Allah. We share these examples so people may think deeply.
He is Allah—there is no god but Him. He knows what is hidden and what is seen. He is the Most Kind, the Most Merciful.
He is Allah—there is no god but Him. The King, the Pure, the Perfect, the Giver of Peace, the Watcher over all, the Almighty, the Controller, the Supreme. Allah is far above what they associate with Him.
He is Allah—the Creator, the Originator, the Shaper. His are the most beautiful names. Everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies Him. He is the Almighty, the All-Wise.

Surah Hashr Urdu Translation

زمین و آسمان کی ہر چیز اللہ کی تسبیح کرتی ہے۔ وہی سب پر غالب اور حکمت والا ہے۔
اللہ نے اہلِ کتاب میں سے کافروں کو ان کے گھروں سے پہلی بار نکال باہر کیا۔ تمہیں گمان نہ تھا کہ وہ نکلیں گے، اور وہ سمجھے بیٹھے تھے کہ ان کے قلعے انہیں اللہ سے بچا لیں گے۔ لیکن اللہ کا حکم وہاں سے آیا جہاں سے انہیں اندازہ بھی نہ تھا، اور ان کے دلوں میں رعب ڈال دیا۔ وہ اپنے گھروں کو اپنے ہی ہاتھوں سے اور مسلمانوں کے ہاتھوں سے ڈھانے لگے۔ اہلِ بصیرت کے لیے اس میں بڑی نصیحت ہے۔
اگر اللہ نے ان کے لیے جلاوطنی نہ لکھی ہوتی تو دنیا ہی میں ان پر کوئی اور عذاب آتا۔ اور آخرت میں تو ان کے لیے آگ کا عذاب ہے۔
یہ سب اس لیے ہوا کہ انہوں نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی مخالفت کی۔ اور جو اللہ کی مخالفت کرے تو یاد رکھو، اللہ کا عذاب سخت ہے۔
چاہے تم نے ان کے کھجور کے درخت کاٹے یا جڑ پر کھڑے رہنے دیے، یہ سب اللہ کے حکم سے ہوا تاکہ وہ نافرمانوں کو ذلیل کرے۔
جو کچھ اللہ نے ان کے مال میں سے اپنے رسول کو دیا، اس کے لیے نہ تمہیں گھوڑے دوڑانے کی ضرورت تھی اور نہ اونٹ۔ اللہ اپنے رسولوں کو جس پر چاہتا ہے غلبہ دیتا ہے۔ اللہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔
جو کچھ اللہ نے رسول کو بستیوں کے مال سے دیا وہ اللہ کے لیے ہے، رسول کے لیے ہے، یتیموں، مسکینوں اور مسافروں کے لیے ہے تاکہ یہ مال صرف امیروں کے درمیان نہ گردش کرے۔ رسول جو کچھ دے اسے لے لو، اور جس سے منع کرے اس سے بچو۔ اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو، اس کا عذاب سخت ہے۔
اس مال میں حصہ ان مہاجرین کے لیے بھی ہے جو اپنے گھروں اور مال سے نکالے گئے، جو اللہ کی رضا چاہتے ہیں اور اللہ و رسول کی مدد کرتے ہیں۔ یہی سچے ہیں۔
اور وہ لوگ بھی جو مدینہ میں پہلے سے آباد تھے اور ایمان لاچکے تھے، وہ مہاجرین سے محبت کرتے ہیں، اور جو کچھ انہیں دیا گیا اس پر حسد نہیں کرتے۔ بلکہ اپنی ضرورت کے باوجود دوسروں کو ترجیح دیتے ہیں۔ جو اپنے نفس کی لالچ سے بچ گیا وہی کامیاب ہے۔
اور جو ان کے بعد آئے وہ یوں دعا کرتے ہیں: “اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں اور ہمارے ان بھائیوں کو بخش دے جو ہم سے پہلے ایمان لائے۔ ہمارے دلوں میں ایمان والوں کے لیے کوئی بغض نہ رہنے دے۔ بے شک تو مہربان، رحم والا ہے۔”
کیا تم نے منافقوں کو نہیں دیکھا؟ وہ اہلِ کتاب کے کافروں سے کہتے ہیں: “اگر تم نکالے گئے تو ہم بھی تمہارے ساتھ نکلیں گے، اور اگر تم پر حملہ ہوا تو ہم ضرور مدد کریں گے۔” لیکن اللہ گواہ ہے کہ وہ جھوٹے ہیں۔
اگر وہ نکالے گئے تو یہ ان کے ساتھ نہیں جائیں گے، اور اگر ان پر حملہ ہوا تو یہ ان کی مدد نہیں کریں گے۔ اور اگر مدد کریں بھی تو فوراً بھاگ نکلیں گے۔ آخرکار ان کی کوئی مدد نہ ہوگی۔
وہ تم سے اللہ سے بھی زیادہ ڈرتے ہیں۔ یہ اس لیے کہ وہ عقل نہیں رکھتے۔
یہ لوگ تم سے کھلے میدان میں نہیں لڑیں گے، سوائے قلعوں اور دیواروں کے پیچھے سے۔ ان کے دلوں میں آپس کی دشمنی شدید ہے۔ تم سمجھو گے کہ وہ متحد ہیں لیکن ان کے دل بٹے ہوئے ہیں۔ یہ عقل سے خالی لوگ ہیں۔
یہ ان لوگوں کی طرح ہیں جو ان سے پہلے گزر چکے۔ انہوں نے اپنے انجام کا مزہ چکھ لیا اور ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے۔
یہ شیطان کی مثال جیسے وہ انسان سے کہتا ہے “کفر کر!” اور جب وہ کفر کر لیتا ہے تو کہتا ہے “میں تجھ سے بری ہوں، میں تو اللہ سے ڈرتا ہوں۔”
تو دونوں کا انجام یہ ہے کہ آگ میں ہمیشہ رہیں۔ یہی ظالموں کی سزا ہے۔
ایمان والو! اللہ سے ڈرو، اور ہر شخص یہ دیکھے کہ اس نے کل کے لیے کیا بھیجا ہے۔ اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو، وہ تمہارے سب اعمال سے باخبر ہے۔
ان لوگوں کی طرح نہ ہو جاؤ جنہوں نے اللہ کو بھلا دیا تو اللہ نے انہیں ان کا اپنا آپ بھلا دیا۔ یہ ہی اصل نافرمان ہیں۔
آگ والے اور جنت والے برابر نہیں ہو سکتے۔ جنت والے ہی کامیاب ہیں۔
اگر ہم یہ قرآن کسی پہاڑ پر اتارتے تو تم دیکھتے کہ وہ اللہ کے خوف سے جھک جاتا اور ٹوٹ کر بکھر جاتا۔ یہ مثالیں ہم لوگوں کے لیے دیتے ہیں تاکہ وہ سوچیں۔
وہی اللہ ہے، اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ غیب اور ظاہر سب کو جاننے والا۔ وہ بڑا مہربان، رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
وہی اللہ ہے، اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ بادشاہ، پاکیزہ، بے عیب، سلامتی دینے والا، نگران، زبردست، قابو رکھنے والا، بڑا۔ اللہ پاک ہے ان سب باتوں سے جو وہ اس کے ساتھ جوڑتے ہیں۔
وہی اللہ ہے، پیدا کرنے والا، بنانے والا، شکل دینے والا۔ سب اچھے نام اسی کے ہیں۔ آسمان و زمین کی ہر چیز اس کی تسبیح کرتی ہے۔ وہی غالب اور حکمت والا ہے۔

Surah Hashr Hindi Translation

आसमानों और ज़मीन की हर चीज़ अल्लाह की तारीफ़ करती है। वही ताक़तवर और हिकमत वाला है।
अल्लाह ने किताब वालों में से काफ़िरों को उनके घरों से निकाला। तुम समझते थे कि वे कभी नहीं निकलेंगे, और वे सोचते थे कि उनके क़िले उन्हें अल्लाह से बचा लेंगे। मगर अल्लाह का हुक्म वहां से आया जहां से उन्हें उम्मीद भी न थी। उनके दिलों में डर डाल दिया गया। उन्होंने अपने घरों को खुद अपने हाथों से और मुसलमानों के हाथों से गिरा दिया। समझदार लोगों के लिए इसमें बड़ी सीख है।
अगर अल्लाह ने उनके लिए जला-वतन होना न लिखा होता, तो इस दुनिया में उन्हें और अज़ाब मिलता। और आखिरत में तो उनके लिए जहन्नम की आग है।
यह इसलिए हुआ क्योंकि उन्होंने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल की खिलाफ़त की। और जो अल्लाह का दुश्मन बने, तो अल्लाह का अज़ाब सख़्त है।
चाहे तुमने उनके खजूर के पेड़ काट दिए या खड़े छोड़ दिए, ये सब अल्लाह के इजाज़त से था, ताकि वह गुनहगारों को रुसवा करे।
जो माल अल्लाह ने उनके पास से उसके रसूल को दिया, उसके लिए तुम्हें न घोड़े दौड़ाने की ज़रूरत थी न ऊंट। अल्लाह अपने रसूलों को जिस पर चाहे ग़ालिब कर देता है। अल्लाह हर चीज़ पर क़ादिर है।
जो माल अल्लाह ने रसूल को बस्तियों से दिया, वह अल्लाह का है, रसूल का है, रिश्तेदारों, यतीमों, गरीबों और मुसाफिरों का है, ताकि यह दौलत सिर्फ़ अमीरों के बीच ही न घूमे। रसूल जो कुछ दें उसे ले लो और जिससे रोकें उससे बचो। अल्लाह से डरते रहो, उसका अज़ाब सख़्त है।
उस माल में हिस्सा उन मुहाजिरों का भी है जो अपने घर और माल छोड़कर निकाले गए, जो अल्लाह की रज़ा चाहते हैं और अल्लाह व उसके रसूल की मदद करते हैं। यही सच्चे लोग हैं।
और जो लोग पहले से मदीनह में थे और ईमान ला चुके थे, वे मुहाजिरों से मोहब्बत करते हैं, और उन्हें जो कुछ दिया गया उससे जलते नहीं। बल्कि अपनी ज़रूरत होते हुए भी दूसरों को तर्ज़ीह देते हैं। जो अपने नफ़्स की लालच से बच गया वही कामयाब है।
और जो उनके बाद आए, वह दुआ करते हैं: “ऐ हमारे रब! हमें और हमारे उन भाइयों को माफ़ कर जो हमसे पहले ईमान लाए। हमारे दिलों में ईमान वालों के लिए कोई दुश्मनी न रहने दे। तू बड़ा मेहरबान, रहम वाला है।”
क्या तुमने मुनाफ़िक़ों को नहीं देखा? वे किताब वालों के काफ़िरों से कहते हैं: “अगर तुम्हें निकाला गया तो हम भी तुम्हारे साथ निकलेंगे, और अगर तुम पर हमला हुआ तो हम तुम्हारी मदद करेंगे।” मगर अल्लाह गवाही देता है कि वे झूठे हैं।
अगर वे निकाले गए तो ये उनके साथ नहीं जाएंगे, और अगर उन पर हमला हुआ तो मदद नहीं करेंगे। और अगर करेंगे भी तो भाग खड़े होंगे। आखिर में उनकी कोई मदद न होगी।
वे तुमसे अल्लाह से भी ज़्यादा डरते हैं। ऐसा इसलिए कि उनमें समझ नहीं है।
वे तुमसे आमने-सामने नहीं लड़ेंगे, बस क़िलों और दीवारों के पीछे से। उनके बीच आपस में दुश्मनी है। तुम समझते हो कि वे एक हैं लेकिन उनके दिल बंटे हुए हैं। यह इसलिए कि उनमें अक्ल नहीं।
ये उन जैसे हैं जो उनसे पहले गुज़र गए। उन्होंने अपने अंजाम का मज़ा चख लिया और अब उनके लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब है।
वे शैतान जैसे हैं जो इंसान से कहता है “कुफ़्र कर।” और जब वह कर लेता है तो कहता है “मैं तुमसे अलग हूं, मैं अल्लाह से डरता हूं।”
तो दोनों का अंजाम ये है कि हमेशा के लिए आग में रहेंगे। यही ज़ालिमों की सज़ा है।
ईमान वालों! अल्लाह से डरो, और हर शख़्स देखे कि उसने कल के लिए क्या भेजा है। अल्लाह से डरते रहो, वह तुम्हारे हर काम से वाक़िफ़ है।
उन जैसे मत बनो जिन्होंने अल्लाह को भुला दिया, तो अल्लाह ने उन्हें उनका अपना आप भुला दिया। यही लोग गुनहगार हैं।
जहन्नम वाले और जन्नत वाले बराबर नहीं हो सकते। जन्नत वाले ही कामयाब हैं।
अगर हम यह क़ुरआन किसी पहाड़ पर उतारते तो तुम देखते कि वह अल्लाह के डर से झुक जाता और टुकड़े-टुकड़े हो जाता। यह मिसालें हम लोगों के लिए देते हैं ताकि वे सोचें।
वही अल्लाह है, उसके सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं। वह ग़ैब और ज़ाहिर सबको जानता है। बड़ा मेहरबान, रहम करने वाला है।
वही अल्लाह है, उसके सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं। बादशाह, पाक, बे-ऐब, सलामती देने वाला, निगहबान, ताक़तवर, काबू रखने वाला, बड़ा। अल्लाह पाक है उन सब चीज़ों से जो वे उसके साथ जोड़ते हैं।
वही अल्लाह है, पैदा करने वाला, बनाने वाला, शक्ल देने वाला। सबसे अच्छे नाम उसी के हैं। आसमानों और ज़मीन की हर चीज़ उसी की तारीफ़ करती है। वही ताक़तवर और हिकमत वाला है।

Surah Hashr Wazaif / Dua for a purpose:

When & How to Read	What You Get / Benefit
In the morning after Fajr, read the last 3 verses (21–24).	Allah sends thousands of angels to pray for you and keeps you safe until evening.
In the evening after Asr or Maghrib, read the same 3 verses again.	You stay under Allah’s protection through the whole night until morning.
Make it a daily habit to read the full Surah or at least the last 10 verses.	Your faith becomes stronger, your heart stays connected to Allah, and blessings enter your life.
Whenever you feel fear, stress, or hardship, recite it with focus.	It calms your heart, removes worry, and reminds you that Allah is in control.
When reading Allah’s Beautiful Names in verses 22–24, pause and think about them.	You feel closer to Allah, your love for Him grows, and your prayers feel more powerful.
