1. The Mercy of Allah

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِیْمٌ

Inna Allaha Ghafoorur Raheem

(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:173)

English:
Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Urdu:
اللہ بے حد بخشنے والا اور نہایت مہربان ہے۔

Hindi:
अल्लाह बहुत क्षमाशील और दयालु है।

2. Purpose of Life

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْاِنْسَ اِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوْنِ

Wa maa khalaqtul jinna wal insa illa liya’budoon

(Surah Adh-Dhariyat 51:56)

English:
I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me.

Urdu:
میں نے جنوں اور انسانوں کو صرف اپنی عبادت کے لیے پیدا کیا۔

Hindi:
मैंने जिन्नों और इंसानों को केवल अपनी इबादत के लिए पैदा किया है।

3. Kindness to Parents

وَقَضٰى رَبُّكَ اَلَّا تَعْبُدُوْا اِلَّآ اِيَّاهُ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ اِحْسَانًا

Wa qadha rabbuka alla ta‘budoo illa iyyahu wa bil waalidayni ihsana

(Surah Al-Isra 17:23)

English:
Your Lord has commanded that you worship none but Him, and be kind to your parents.

Urdu:
تمہارے رب نے حکم دیا ہے کہ اسی کی عبادت کرو اور والدین کے ساتھ اچھا سلوک کرو۔

Hindi:
तुम्हारे रब ने हुक्म दिया है कि उसी की इबादत करो और अपने माँ-बाप के साथ भलाई करो।

4. The Best Among You

خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ

Khayrukum man ta‘allamal Qur’āna wa ‘allamahu

(Sahih Bukhari – Hadith)

English:
The best among you is the one who learns the Qur’an and teaches it.

Urdu:
تم میں سب سے بہتر وہ ہے جو قرآن سیکھے اور اسے سکھائے۔

Hindi:
तुम में सबसे अच्छा वह है जो कुरआन सीखे और दूसरों को सिखाए।

5. Good Character

اَكْمَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ إِيْمَانًا أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا

Akmalul mu’mineena imanan ahsanuhum khuluqan

(Tirmidhi – Hadith)

English:
The most perfect believer in faith is the one with the best character.

Urdu:
ایمان میں سب سے کامل وہ مومن ہے جس کا اخلاق سب سے اچھا ہو۔

Hindi:
ईमान में सबसे पूरा वह मोमिन है जिसका चरित्र सबसे अच्छा हो।

6. Helping Others

اللّٰهُ فِيْ عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِيْ عَوْنِ أَخِيْهِ

Allahu fi ‘awni al-‘abdi ma kana al-‘abdu fi ‘awni akhihi

(Sahih Muslim – Hadith)

English:
Allah helps His servant as long as he helps his brother.

Urdu:
اللہ اپنے بندے کی مدد کرتا ہے جب تک بندہ اپنے بھائی کی مدد کرتا رہے۔

Hindi:
अल्लाह अपने बंदे की मदद करता है जब तक वह अपने भाई की मदद करता है।

7. Avoiding Anger

لَا تَغْضَبْ

La taghdab

(Sahih Bukhari – Hadith)

English:
Do not get angry.

Urdu:
غصہ نہ کرو۔

Hindi:
ग़ुस्सा मत करो।

8. Trust in Allah

وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّٰهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ

Wa man yatawakkal ‘ala Allahi fahuwa hasbuhu

(Surah At-Talaq 65:3)

English:
Whoever puts his trust in Allah, He is sufficient for him.

Urdu:
جو اللہ پر بھروسہ کرتا ہے، اللہ اس کے لیے کافی ہے۔

Hindi:
जो अल्लाह पर भरोसा करता है, अल्लाह उसके लिए काफी है।

9. Seek Forgiveness

اِسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا

Istaghfiroo rabbakum innahu kana ghaffara

(Surah Nuh 71:10)

English:
Seek forgiveness from your Lord; indeed, He is ever Forgiving.

Urdu:
اپنے رب سے بخشش مانگو، بے شک وہ بہت بخشنے والا ہے۔

Hindi:
अपने रब से माफी माँगो, निश्चय ही वह बहुत क्षमाशील है।

10. Do Good Deeds

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ

Faman ya‘mal mithqala dharratin khayran yarah

(Surah Az-Zalzalah 99:7)

English:
Whoever does even an atom’s weight of good will see it.

Urdu:
جو ذرّہ برابر بھی نیکی کرے گا، وہ اسے دیکھ لے گا۔

Hindi:
जो रत्ती भर भी भलाई करेगा, वह उसे देखेगा।

11. Speak Good Words

وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا

Wa qooloo linnaasi husna

(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:83)

English:
Speak kindly to people.

Urdu:
لوگوں سے اچھی بات کرو۔

Hindi:
लोगों से अच्छी बात कहो।

12. Patience in Hardship

إِنَّ اللّٰهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

Inna Allaha ma‘as saabireen

(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:153)

English:
Indeed, Allah is with those who are patient.

Urdu:
بے شک اللہ صبر کرنے والوں کے ساتھ ہے۔

Hindi:
निश्चय ही अल्लाह सब्र करने वालों के साथ है।

13. Reminder of Death

كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ

Kullu nafsin dha’iqatul maut

(Surah Aal-Imran 3:185)

English:
Every soul shall taste death.

Urdu:
ہر جان کو موت کا مزہ چکھنا ہے۔

Hindi:
हर आत्मा को मौत का स्वाद चखना है।

14. Spread Peace

أَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ بَيْنَكُمْ

Afshus-salaama baynakum

(Sahih Muslim – Hadith)

English:
Spread peace among yourselves.

Urdu:
آپس میں سلام کو عام کرو۔

Hindi:
आपस में सलाम (शांति) फैलाओ।

15. Control the Tongue

مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ

Man kana yu’minu billahi wal yawmil aakhiri fal-yaqul khayran aw liyasmut

(Sahih Bukhari – Hadith)

English:
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent.

Urdu:
جو اللہ اور آخرت پر ایمان رکھتا ہے وہ یا تو اچھی بات کرے یا خاموش رہے۔

Hindi:
जो अल्लाह और आख़िरत पर ईमान रखता है, वह या तो भली बात कहे या चुप रहे।

16. The Power of Dua

اُدْعُوْنِيْ أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ

Udu‘oonee astajib lakum

(Surah Ghafir 40:60)

English:
Call upon Me; I will respond to you.

Urdu:
مجھے پکارو، میں تمہاری دعا قبول کروں گا۔

Hindi:
मुझे पुकारो, मैं तुम्हारी दुआ स्वीकार करूँगा।

17. Brotherhood in Islam

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ

Innamal mu’minoona ikhwatun

(Surah Al-Hujurat 49:10)

English:
Indeed, the believers are but brothers.

Urdu:
بیشک سب مسلمان آپس میں بھائی بھائی ہیں۔

Hindi:
निस्संदेह, सभी मोमिन आपस में भाई-भाई हैं।

18. Reconciliation Between People

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ

Innamal mu’minoona ikhwatun fa-aslihoo bayna akhawaykum

(Surah Al-Hujurat 49:10)

English:
Believers are brothers, so make peace between your brothers.

Urdu:
مومن آپس میں بھائی بھائی ہیں، لہٰذا اپنے بھائیوں میں صلح کراؤ۔

Hindi:
मोमिन आपस में भाई हैं, इसलिए अपने भाइयों के बीच सुलह कराओ।

19. Forgiving Others

فَاعْفُوا وَاصْفَحُوا أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ اللّٰهُ لَكُمْ

Fa‘fuu wasfahoo, alaa tuhibboona an yaghfira Allahu lakum

(Surah An-Nur 24:22)

English:
Forgive and overlook. Do you not wish that Allah should forgive you?

Urdu:
درگزر کرو اور معاف کر دو۔ کیا تم نہیں چاہتے کہ اللہ تمہیں بخش دے؟

Hindi:
माफ करो और दरगुज़र करो। क्या तुम नहीं चाहते कि अल्लाह तुम्हें माफ कर दे?

20. Controlling Anger

وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ

Wal kaazimeenal ghaiza wal ‘aafeena ‘anin naas

(Surah Aal-Imran 3:134)

English:
Those who control their anger and forgive people.

Urdu:
جو اپنے غصے کو پی جاتے ہیں اور لوگوں کو معاف کر دیتے ہیں۔

Hindi:
जो अपने ग़ुस्से को रोकते हैं और लोगों को माफ़ कर देते हैं।

21. Rights of Neighbours

وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَبِذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْجَارِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْجَارِ الْجُنُبِ

Wa bil waalidayni ihsana wa bidhil qurba wal yataama wal masaakeen wal jaaridhil qurba wal jaaril junubi

(Surah An-Nisa 4:36)

English:
Be kind to parents, relatives, orphans, the needy, and your neighbours near and far.

Urdu:
والدین، رشتہ داروں، یتیموں، محتاجوں اور قریبی و دور کے ہمسایوں سے احسان کرو۔

Hindi:
माता-पिता, रिश्तेदारों, अनाथों, गरीबों और पास-पड़ोस के लोगों के साथ भलाई करो।

22. Rights of Parents

وَقُلْ رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

Wa qul rabbir hamhuma kama rabbayaani sagheera

(Surah Al-Isra 17:24)

English:
Say: My Lord, have mercy on them as they raised me when I was small.

Urdu:
کہو، اے میرے رب! ان پر رحم فرما جیسے انہوں نے بچپن میں میری پرورش کی۔

Hindi:
कहो, ऐ मेरे रब! उन पर रहम कर जैसे उन्होंने बचपन में मेरी परवरिश की।

23. Respecting the Mother

أُمُّكَ أَحَقُّ النَّاسِ بِحُسْنِ صُحْبَتِكَ

Ummuka ahaqqun naasi bi husni suhbatika

(Sahih Bukhari – Hadith)

English:
Your mother has the greatest right to your good companionship.

Urdu:
تمہاری ماں تمہاری بہترین رفاقت کی سب سے زیادہ حقدار ہے۔

Hindi:
तुम्हारी माँ तुम्हारी सबसे अच्छी संगत की सबसे ज़्यादा हक़दार है।

24. Obedience to Parents

الْوَالِدَانِ أَوْسَطُ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ

Al-waalidan awsatu abwaabil jannah

(Tirmidhi – Hadith)

English:
Parents are the middle gate of Paradise.

Urdu:
والدین جنت کا درمیانی دروازہ ہیں۔

Hindi:
माता-पिता जन्नत का बीच वाला दरवाज़ा हैं।

25. Rights of Others

آتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَى حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ

Aati dhal qurba haqqahu wal miskeena wabnas sabeel

(Surah Ar-Rum 30:38)

English:
Give the relative his right, and the poor, and the traveller.

Urdu:
رشتہ دار کو اس کا حق دو، محتاج اور مسافر کو بھی۔

Hindi:
रिश्तेदार को उसका हक दो, गरीब और मुसाफ़िर को भी।

26. Fair Dealing

وَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ بِالْقِسْطِ

Wa awful kayla wal meezaana bil qist

(Surah Al-An‘am 6:152)

English:
Give full measure and weight with justice.

Urdu:
ناپ تول انصاف کے ساتھ پورا کرو۔

Hindi:
नाप और तोल न्याय के साथ पूरा करो।

27. Prohibition of Backbiting

وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا

Wala yaghtab ba‘dukum ba‘da

(Surah Al-Hujurat 49:12)

English:
Do not backbite one another.

Urdu:
آپس میں ایک دوسرے کی غیبت نہ کرو۔

Hindi:
आपस में एक-दूसरे की बुराई मत करो।

28. Helping the Poor

فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ

Fa ammal yateema fala taqhar, wa ammas saa’ila fala tanhar

(Surah Ad-Duha 93:9–10)

English:
Do not oppress the orphan, and do not repel the beggar.

Urdu:
یتیم پر ظلم نہ کرو، اور مانگنے والے کو نہ جھڑکو۔

Hindi:
अनाथ पर ज़ुल्म मत करो, और माँगने वाले को मत झिड़को।

29. Justice for All

إِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ

Inna Allaha ya’muru bil ‘adli wal ihsaan

(Surah An-Nahl 16:90)

English:
Allah commands justice and kindness.

Urdu:
اللہ انصاف اور بھلائی کا حکم دیتا ہے۔

Hindi:
अल्लाह न्याय और भलाई का हुक्म देता है।

30. Avoiding Pride

وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا

Wala tamshi fil ardi maraha

(Surah Al-Isra 17:37)

English:
Do not walk on the earth with arrogance.

Urdu:
زمین پر غرور کے ساتھ مت چلو۔

Hindi:
ज़मीन पर घमंड से मत चलो।

31. Keeping Promises

وَأَوْفُوا بِالْعَهْدِ إِنَّ الْعَهْدَ كَانَ مَسْؤُولًا

Wa awfoo bil ‘ahdi innal ‘ahda kaana mas’uula

(Surah Al-Isra 17:34)

English:
Fulfil your promises, for every promise will be questioned.

Urdu:
وعدہ پورا کرو، یقیناً وعدے کے بارے میں پوچھا جائے گا۔

Hindi:
अपना वादा पूरा करो, क्योंकि हर वादे के बारे में पूछा जाएगा।

32. Avoiding Cheating

وَيْلٌ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ

Wailul lil mutaffifeen

(Surah Al-Mutaffifin 83:1)

English:
Woe to those who cheat in measure.

Urdu:
تباہی ہے ناپ تول میں کمی کرنے والوں کے لیے۔

Hindi:
बर्बादी है उन लोगों के लिए जो नाप-तोल में धोखा देते हैं।

33. Reward of Good Deeds

هَلْ جَزَاءُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ

Hal jazaa’ul ihsaani illal ihsaan

(Surah Ar-Rahman 55:60)

English:
Is the reward for goodness anything but goodness?

Urdu:
کیا بھلائی کا بدلہ بھلائی کے سوا کچھ اور ہو سکتا ہے؟

Hindi:
क्या भलाई का बदला भलाई के सिवा कुछ हो सकता है?

34. Avoiding Hatred

وَلَا تَبَاغَضُوا وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللّٰهِ إِخْوَانًا

Wala tabaaghadoo wala tadaabaroo wa koonoo ‘ibaadallahi ikhwana

(Sahih Muslim – Hadith)

English:
Do not hate each other, do not turn away; be servants of Allah as brothers.

Urdu:
ایک دوسرے سے نفرت نہ کرو، پیٹھ نہ پھیرو، اور اللہ کے بندے بھائی بھائی بن جاؤ۔

Hindi:
एक-दूसरे से नफरत मत करो, पीठ मत मोड़ो, और अल्लाह के बंदे बनकर भाई बनो।

35. The Greatest Reward

مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِ

Man ‘amila saalihan falinafsihi

(Surah Fussilat 41:46)

English:
Whoever does good, it is for his own soul.

Urdu:
جو نیک عمل کرتا ہے، وہ اپنے ہی لیے فائدہ مند ہے۔

Hindi:
जो भला काम करता है, वह अपने ही लिए लाभदायक है।
